Bob Johnson

For almost 30 years, Bob Johnson has developed leadership potential in senior executives and their teams, working with organizations as small as 10 and up to 90,000 employees in size and in a variety of industries, both public and private, profit and not-for-profit. Bob has been described as “one of the leading, most seasoned, executive coaches with a style best described as one of benevolent irreverence.”
Bob’s executive coaching experience is complemented by his whole-company teamwork sessions (half day to multi-day), senior executive planning and strategy sessions and retreats including teamwork exercises using his extensive Outward Bound experience. As part of his coaching, Bob also conducts workshops in Conflict Resolution, Recognition, Employee Retention, Situational Leadership, Ethical Persuasion, Change, Risk, Trust as well as Corporate and Personal Values.
Bob holds two undergraduate degrees from the Minnesota State University at Mankato. He is a trained Intrinsic Coach through the Totally Coached program, a qualified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator facilitator and is certified to use the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i) and the Firo-B indicator, all critical tools for coaching. He is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and holds several volunteer roles leading the Executive Coach Council and serving on the Executive Coach Summit. He is also a Board member for the International Consortium for Coaching in Organizations (ICCO). He is a founding member and a past president of the Calgary Association of Professional Coaches.
